VARIE 300
Multi-Component Vinylester High Output Gear Metering Machine

The VARIE 300 Multi-Component, High Output Dispensing Machine is designed with large volume pour and precision in mind. This machine was designed specifically for VARTM/SCRIMP production applications requiring a machine that could meet large material production demands. The VARIE 300 also encompasses every safeguard to assure safe, explosion-proof operation. In addition to the mechanical operation challenges, the VARIE 300 addresses, it is also designed to operate with minimum VOC release. Testing has shown that Styrene exposure in the area around the VARIE 300 will not exceed 2ppm in a six hour period.

The operation parameters for the VARIE 300 require that the machine feeds directly from large volume containers and operate with precision lobe and gear pumps that are individually controllable. The machine also runs in recirculation when not dispensing. This recirculation system is complemented by a custom design air driven stirring system mounted to the large volume resin holding tank to assure complete component mix. The VARIE 300 provides a precision, pressure balanced pour mode upon operator command, or with the signal from an optional level sensor. Mixing is completed with the Standard Ross Style static mixer, or the optional dynamic mix head, and clean up is simple with the solvent, water, or air blow down purge. This machine is also explosion proof with over and under pressure and temperature sensors designed to shut down the machine when necessary. The functionality of this machine is enhanced with the Intermediate model (VARIE 300-2) that includes fluid meters tied in with the digital read out that constantly displays the ratio of the two components. Additional components can be added up to a total of 6 (5 with solvent purge). The meters are used in the Deluxe Model VARIE 300 as the feedback to a control loop tied into a PC or PLC to drive individual DC motors. ALL aspects of the ratio are controlled by historic curves based on temperature, and required gel time. A completely automated model of the machine is produced when a level sensor or tie in with the tool controls the pour.
